So, I just plugged my phone to charge it. It was 35% when I plugged it, then when I grabbed my phone to check on it, it won't light up or anything, the LED indicator was lit, it was red and I unplugged it, still the led indicator was red. so I tried the force restart, safe mode, the pressing of home, power and volume buttons but still no luck, what could be the problem? helppppp.

Welcome to Android Central! How long was it charging before you checked it? Are you certain the outlet you used was working?

Plug the phone into another wall outlet and let it charge undisturbed for at least 4 hours. Then power on by pressing and holding Power for at least 15-20 seconds.

If that doesn't work, try to boot into recovery by unplugging the phone, then pressing and holding Power, Volume down and Home buttons. When the screen flickers and you see the warning, release all three buttons.

If this works, press Volume down and it should boot into normal mode.
