Around a month ago my phone got extremely hot whilst wirelessly charging.
The phone then started playing up with apps not working properly. I restarted it and it became obvious the extreme heat had fried the SD card.
I took the card out and let it cool and it read some of the SD card apps.
Subsequently bought a new card and reinstalled the non phone apps. Now works OK but card takes 5 minutes to load SD based apps.
Also, phone reboots itself once a day.
Any thoughts?

Not only the card, but the card port seems to have fried, That normally (unless you know a repair shop owner very well) means a new motherboard. Considering the value of the phone, it's probably worth it.

Thanks Rukbat. The (both) cards are actually well readable in my laptop but I think you are spot on regarding the card reader. It is under warranty and is going back to Samsung! Bit of a pain, though.
