Using 50 Ohm Headphones

Hey all, I currently have Sennheiser HD449 headphones (32 ohm impedance) and actually quite like them while using the S7e with the Upscaler and Adapt sound on.

However, I'd love to improve my sound experience even more and upgrade to the Sennheiser HD598. My question is, can the S7e handle the 50 Ohm Impedance of the 598 without the use of an amp? I know of course an amp would be beneficial, but can it be done without?

I don't have the S7 edge, but I did own the Note 7 briefly.

If they are using the same SD820 DAC, the answer is sure, but it won't be an experience to write home about.

So would there be any benefit over what I already have without getting an amp, or not really?

I currently use 250 Ohm headphones(Beyerdynamic DT 990 PRO) for my PC with an amp somehow my S7e does not need an amp for them everything is loud and clear. So 50 Ohm headphones shouldn't make problems in combination with the S7e.

According to Qualcomm website the note 7 received an upgrade, same set up used in the HTC 10

Awesome. Glad someone has a s7e so they can verify. Might end up pulling the trigger than.
