Samsung s7 Edge calendar won't display all data

I have a Samsung s7 Edge and I use the Calendar feature, but it will only display about 2 weeks worth of calendar entries. I also tried S Planner with the same result.

I have looked through settings, but I can't find any option that limits what is displayed. Ideally I would like it to display all the entries.

My calendar is linked to a live.com e-mail account (ie: like hotmail etc) and if I look online or on Outlook on my laptop everything is visible, but for some reason the phone seems to only display the most recent entries.

I'd appreciate any advice if anyone else has seen this issue and hopefully resolved it.

EUREKA !!! We have a solution. It was on the phone's e-mail settings. We expected it to be in the calendar settings or preferences.

The solution was as follows:
A) email settings
B) sync settings
C) set calendar to all

Now his entire calendar is displayed for all months. *phew*
