So I thought the AOD was supposed to turn off if the proximity sensor was covered, like say if it's in your pocket. I KNOW it does this. Which is one reason I set it face down on my nightstand to sleep. Yet many nights I can still see the glow from the AOD coming out from under and if I tilt it up to look, sure enough it's still on. Why?

It uses the accelerometer to determine orientation an it also self adjusts to ambient room light so that means the light sensor is also on
