Adding Yahoo Account

I've just upgraded to a Galaxy 7 edge and am unable to create a Yahoo Account i.e. Rocketmail. I get an error message incorrect email account or password. To me this is an erroneous message as I can access the internet and open Yahoo and log in with my rocketmail account name and passwork. Does anyone have the same problem and do they know how to resolve it please.
I used to have a Galaxy 4 mini and after I received a security alert from Yahoo and upgraded the software ended up with the same problem.

To me this is an erroneous message

But to the phone it's not. There are two possibilities that come immediately to mind:

1. Either the login or the password has a letter in the wrong case. (Logins usually don't matter, but who knows what they've done behind the scenes?)

2. There's something temporarily wrong with the server.

as I can access the internet and open Yahoo and log in with my rocketmail account name and passwork.

Accessing it and setting up a new client use different APIs.

There may also be other possibilities - like double-authentication.
