Market demand has also edged manufacturers toward slimmer/thinner phones. Lately, in my opinion, phones have slimmed down to the point where they seem less substantial (I paid almost $1000 for this?!), wafer thin and as unwieldy as a watermelon seed when uncased.
True. I'm more prone to leaving my phone somewhere and have it lost since I don't feel its weight in my pocket anymore. I think I should buy a thicker and heavier case.

My wife has had a NEW AT&T Samsung S7 since May, 2016 for $700 and it has been having the issues with the battery over heating and operating issues. So my wife has been trying to deal with AT&T on getting it replaced. Well good luck. AT&T will send you a REFURBISHED S7 with no real Warranty. You get what is left on your original phone. How about a Class Action Lawsuit against AT&T for there CROOKED ways. I would by interested in signing on for that also.

How is AT&T acting in a "CROOKED" manner in this case? Your wife has been using her once-new phone for going on eight months now. You say that AT&T will replace her potentially defective device. Why would you expect AT&T to replace her used phone with a new one? I suspect that the terms for their warranty replacement policy are clearly spelled out in the documentation that you had to acknowledge when you bought the phone. They probably state they will replace a new device with a new device if within the normal return window (maybe 14 days or so), then with a new or refurbished like (or similar) device at their discretion.

"Lets Hold AT&T ACCOUNTABLE" (sic). Really?

How come now one is going after Apple... They had a few batteries that blew up..... I think it's ridiculous to take legal action on this...

Just because a lawsuit is filed does not mean Samsung is automatically libel.

    Therefore...who cares?
    OR even liable....sorry, couldn't resist.
