    Did anyone get an email or anything from Samsung confirming they are registered or giving instructions? I finally got the app to accept my registration last night after days of trying but the app just says server error now and is not showing I'm registered anymore.

    So it has all been going so well but I have hit some problems with whatsapp from yesterday and am unsure if it is nougat related, whatsapp related or something else?

    I'm running the beta on my S7 edge (I am using the Blackberry Hub+ which may or may not be an issue).I installed it last week and it has all been totally fine (feels like final release tbh no issues at all). Yesterday however I started to hit issues with whatsapp and specifically I am not getting any notifications on whatsapp, no badge icon, nothing in the BB hub, nothing. It is only when I actually open the app itself that the message comes through.

    As I say it was working fine and there were no app updates or settings changes that preceded the issue. I uninstalled and reinstalled last night and this did fix it, this morning however there was an update to the app and it is not working again.

    Anybody else experiencing this?

    I have had similar issues with what's app on nougat. On a few occasions I have had a message that has had no notification on the phone and I only find it by opening the app. However this has happened maybe 2 or 3 times and the rest of the time it works great

    Be interested in people's feedback on battery life. Mine was brilliant after first install, then I did a factory reset and set the whole phone up as new and its not that good. No better than MM, maybe even worse. Thinking of trying a reset again but don't want to if it's similar for everyone. Not sure why it worked so great before the factory reset

    I don't think you're supposed to get anything. If you registered already the download should be available. The Beta app showing only register option and giving server error is "expected". I've had the same situation but was able to download without any issues.

    Wondering if it may have something to do with data saver and restricting background data maybe? I just set whatsapp to unrestricted and it all seems ok again.

    Fyi after the update battery was bad for a couple of charges.....but no at its 3rd full charge battery seems to be better than on marshmallow

    Seems to work fine for me although I don't use it often. Often get a pop up saying the app may not be supported but then it works anyway

    Would anyone happen to know if there's a copy of the nougat beta for T-Mobile that I could download somewhere floating around? I keep checking XDA but it's like a jungle over there trying to find something lol. Thanks

    I rarely use it as well. Maybe it works a little differently than Samsung's implementation or I'm forgetting how to properly use it. It just seems to feel odd to me.

    I think they've adopted Googles way of doing it so it is different to how it used to be

    It's gone after the update, unless you do a factory reset and it will show up. There is a galaxy app widget you can use without doing a factory reset.

    My Galaxy App Store is still intact. I have the Tmobile version. Maybe it's limited to Verizon?

    Go to your settings, scroll down to About Device, click on Download Updates Manually, if you were selected to be a tester then the download will appear.

    Galaxy App Store is still intact on my T-mobile beta as well. However I did have problem where my phone suddenly went blank. For a couple of minutes I thought the phone was bricked but it finally restarted. Whew!

    I don't see this option on my Verizon s7 edge. I successfully registered for the beta a few days ago and still haven't got the update

    Then Google how to check manually for updates on verizon's S7 edge, that should help. The software update won't appear on your phone automatically, you have to actually manually check for it.
