    Not had this update yet how did it come through

    Via a normal update notification in the pull town from the top of the phone bar.

    I've got an o2 SIM card in my unbranded s7 edge and received the notification a short while ago. See my earlier post.

    I believe it's a staggered roll out by Samsung.

    Update from Samsung

    We are aware of the issue with the Samsung Cloud and we're working on getting this sorted as quickly as possible. The fix for this is scheduled to launch from the 21st December. ^LH
    I've just updated the new software upgrade and it still doesn't work.
    Extremely disappointed.

    For me all backup fails was becouse I didn't connect to Galaxy Apps, only to Samsung Account. Try to sign in to Galaxy Apps...

    Hi, My back up is still failing.
    Message rads Failed to back up data
    A server error has occurred.
    When I try to back up in Samsung cloud by clicking on the back up now
    All icons say backup failed.

    Finally had a definitive response from Samsung support. I still hadn't received the OTA update but they have sent this link http://www.samsungapps.com/appquery/...android.scloud and I'm pleased to say that the back up is successfully running as I type. At last. Hope someone else finds this info useful too.

    Spoke to Samsung support yesterday three times about this, and a guy in a shop the day before, all with the same advice "wait a bit and try again", but the last girl I spoke to said that the issue was with the cloud, that they all knew about it and the fix will be with the next os update for the device. No date for release and the sync issues will remain until you manually install and apply the sync. Hope this helps, it's still a rubbish outcome but hopefully only a week or two more to wait.

    @macy72 Right, just checked your profile and you are uk, whats the score for me I wonder. My issue is with a phone, ex vodaphone but working fine on 3 sim, ah well, only a week (in my dreams) till my phone that usually works fine comes back from the menders.
