Yesterday, something happened with the power button of my S7 Edge. It got sticky and it couldn't be pressed properly. After around 20-30 presses, it somehow got fixed. Now it can be pressed back properly. However, I am a bit worried.

What do you think the problem was? The phone is 3 months old and has never been dropped or hit. I was also thinking about sending it to the store as it is still under warranty, but the button is working fine now and they probably won't do anything about it.

Any suggestions? Thank you and appreciated.

A "sticky" functioning power button could be a result of an inferior or improperly attached protective cover/case. If no case or cover is being used, Turn off the device and spend some time cleaning the button with q-tips and alcohol.
