    I had this message come up on my screen following a recovery excercise using the samsung find my phone website/app. I am going to answer my own question with the solution I used to solve the problem in my answer post. if the site allows it.

    Hi Guys, I am providing a solution to my own problem as others I have tried in other forums on the internet did not work for my situation. Simply it has to do with signing in and out of your samsung account through your phone settings. Follow these steps.
    1. Go to Settings (Icon)
    2. Go to the Accounts.
    3. Select Samsung account then Profile.
    4. Confirm your password to sign into your Samsung account. CLOSE window then CLOSE ALL. to return to your home screen.

    These actions also solved a syncing error I was getting at the same time. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, I assume this solution would work for similar samsung models as well
