Not receiving updates after installing official uk s7 edge nougat rom

So i downloaded official uk nougat rom for s7 edge but im not receiving updates i heard i could go back to stock with smart switch software emergency update but i want to know if smart switch will download the firmware all again and if yes are there any other solutionn?
Note : i live in lebanon and got my s7 edge here
