Incoming calls on my s7 edge will not allow me to hang up.

When I receive an incoming call I want to cancel (or hang up on) the red phone hang up icon has a diagonal bar through it. Will not function. As a result, the phone continues to ring constantly until the unwanted call disconnects. How do I deactivate this feature so I can use the red icon again?

Welcome to Android Central! You're talking about rejecting a call, and not hanging up after initially answering the call, right? Usually, you have to swipe, rather than just touch the hangup icon. Does it work if you swipe inward from that icon?
