    Hello all,

Yesterday morning my phone stopped working in the after I pressed the home button and I got the booloader exception error.

I've watched several videos online showing how to fix the issue.

My main issue is that I purchased my phone in Hong Kong but know that it is likely a grey market phone from Singapore.
I know this due to the Samsung Pay notifications from Singapore that pop up from time to time.

I could NOT purchase a Hong Kong market phone at the time because the official HK version was completely out of stock and I had just broken my A5 and didn't want to replace it with another other than an S7 Edge.

Because of the bootloader exception, I have no idea how to determine which firmware I need to download to try a last ditch effort to reflash my phone.

I have come across links showing all the firmwares but there are no less than TWENTY from Singapore.

Is there any other way to determine which firmware I require without turning on the phone?

    Thank you kindly!

You want the latest one (it has the latest security fixes), and you'll notice that all the latest non-branded ROMS for Singapore have the same PDA and CSC files, so https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/...S1DQHV/190861/ would probably be the one you want.
