Is the s7 edge still a worthy device

Hi all

I have a note 8, but the s7 edge has always been one of the most beautiful devices i owned and i am intrested on purchasing a device for my hubby. Is it still a capable device that can be used for a few more years or is its shelf life almost up

It's still a capable device. Samsung should support it for another year or two of security updates, but the upcoming Oreo update will be its last major OS update. It's likely to get that update next year after the S8 and Note 8 get theirs.
