Restore fails

Have never been able to get Android to restore properly.

Today needed to do h/ware reset .... so first off did full backup .... all OK.

After reset, put in Goggle & Samsung account details, along with WiFi password.
Went to backup restore .... it ran, and after about 30 min completed.

None of home screens restored, also FB, WhatsApp, Messenger accounts not restored.
About the only thing it seems to restore is contacts.

Why is Android so bad at this ...
You expect a full backup to give a full restore.

Yeah not a fan of Android backups.. I use SMS backup pro for all my message and phone call restores.. Backup my home screens from my launcher... Don't use FB and Whatsapp I don't have anything I want to restore not sure on those..

You expect a full backup to give a full restore.

With Samsung cloud restore , try to apply the restore again , best is smart switch on pc to restore because what's ha with Samsung cloud on the phone they will be taking lot of things away from it .
