From this afternoon, though I cropped it and used a little Photoshop...don't punish me:

Please note that i discovered an odd issue with HDR ON versus Auto HDR:

Auto HDR turns out to be essentially "HDR Lite", and HDR ON is really full-on HDR.

so, if you were to take 3 pictures of the IDENTICAL still life scene, and one is HDR OFF, one is HDR Auto, and the last one is HDR ON, you'd essentially get: no HDR, lite HDR, and full-on HDR.

if anyone were industrious and wish to confirm my findings, I'd most welcome it. thank you in advance!
Somebody else in one of the other threads found the same thing, I've personally not looked as I shoot mostly in pro mode and use the raw files.

See I knew someone had said it lol, I will test after work tomorrow but it will probably be Friday morning when I post back. I don't get in till late tomorrow.

i can post my 3 pictures here too but that was with my 1st S7 Edge, now exchanged for my current S7 Edge. I have not yet tested my current S7 Edge, i.e. the 2nd unit.

Here's another one except the orb of light is red. Don't know why the app is loading the pictures sideways . Look close to where the grass meets the green weeds

I wonder if it's the same thing happening with my picture above. We had 18" of snow fall today and maybe I'll get out when it gets dark and take a few pictures and test this out.

I've never met a digital photo that couldn't benefit from a little post processing :)
That dog gets around!

Well, @monicakm: today, the weather was great, summer-esque, so I felt guilty to not take him out for a nice long walk. he has on his "tough guy-looking collar/leash combo", ha ha ha. he's a sweetie!

I just took this picture and it seems to be fine with no weird lights or orbs. Not sure if those white dots on the right are just caused from the snow.

Some low light shots. It really lightens up the dark areas.

Mattressguy I would try take a few photos in similar conditions to what you see the spot. Use the same zoom factor on all but with different rotation. This will tell you if it's anything inside the lens catching the light as it should be in the same place relatively on all photos.
