Always on display brightness

I have noticed that often AOD seems to be very bright, while at other times it's quite dim, like I would expect. It's often so bright that I have actually stopped using it. Has anyone else experienced this?

It dims when it's darker. Working as designed.

Go to the display setting, then go to the brightness and choose your brightness that you want to set.

Same issue here. This works like auto screen brightness feature which increases brightness in brighter environment but it's not necessary imo. And AOD is absolutely using up more than 1%/hr that suggested by Samsung
