How do I stop text messages from forwarding to my email on the S7?

S7 is sending all my text messages to my email accounts. I have a work email ant this is NOT acceptable for all my text to be sent to my work email.

go to email/more/settings select your work email account and scroll down to sync messages and toggle off

That sounds easy but when I go to "email/more/.." then I dont get a "setting" option, but only an option to either "Synchronise now" or to "remove account" - anyone who has a solution? Would be appreciated!

You are trying to access through accounts. You need to be in the email app

I have the same issue, but the Sync SMS option is already unchecked...

I may have found the solution. From https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...support/knowledge-base-203625/&token=F2bq9Ify of all places.

From a Home screen, navigate: Apps Apps icon > Samsung folder > Email.

The Samsung stock email app was syncing. I don't use that app. I use K9. I'll bet that some update turned the Samsung email app on. I turned it off.
I won't be able to tell if this was the cause until I go driving and happen to get within range of a Comcast hot spot.
