That sounds easy but when I go to "email/more/.." then I dont get a "setting" option, but only an option to either "Synchronise now" or to "remove account" - anyone who has a solution? Would be appreciated!
settings select your work email account and scroll down to sync messages and toggle off
From a Home screen, navigate: Apps Apps icon > Samsung folder > Email.
The Samsung stock email app was syncing. I don't use that app. I use K9. I'll bet that some update turned the Samsung email app on. I turned it off.
I won't be able to tell if this was the cause until I go driving and happen to get within range of a Comcast hot spot.
