Wireless charging work when charging port is wet?

I've read that the micro USB charging port on the S7 gets disabled if water is detected. But does anyone know if the phone can be charged wirelessly if the charging port is wet?

It shouldn't have an impact on the wireless charging as it is two different charging technologies.
