There wasn't much info in the what's new area just some bug fixes but it said "new features" and didn't go into detail. Can anyone elaborate?

Does your version still end in PB8? If so, you're probably just getting the update that was released a couple of weeks ago. No idea what it did since it installed when I got my S7 a few days ago.

There have been 3 firmware releases for the T-Mobile (USA) carrier minority variant of the S7, G930T, to date. They are the initial PB6 and PB8, both on changelist #7103056, which would indicate merely a security patch, and 2 days ago PC8 on changelist #7620545. The latter is obviously a firmware upgrade and bugfix. The Galaxy S7 Edge model is also receiving a similar update.

Got the PC8 alert from Smart Switch when I was about to make a backup after leaving the thread, but it claimed my device doesn't have enough free space to install. Got it from the manual OTA check instead.

Guys, this is mine, is this the latest version?

This is the update I got the moment I turned on the phone 4 days ago (when I purchased it)

Ours is newer but ours is a carrier specific version on T-Mobile. You aren't in the US if I recall correctly.. So that may be the most up to date for your model.

You do not have the T-Mobile (USA) carrier minority variant, G930T, but have the Global model, G930F. If you install Phone INFO ★Samsung★, free from the Play Store and post your, "Product Code:", we can see if you are on the latest firmware, (there are around 200+ different firmwares for the Global model).

My automatic update worked smoothly for me. Didn't know it happened as it checks for an update automatically at 0300 hrs Pacific. So far, so sweet.
Yeah I'm 11 hours in good stuff. Battery life was great before & now better so it seems .
Playing on Twitter with milk music active I'm finding slower % drop.
Android System use is staying low as well.

Hmm maybe that evil Snapdragon is finally being slayed lol
Exynos fanboys please don't be mad go negtive if true , it's only a chip we are Samsung family
