    Hello. You cannot use the card as default or internal storage. Some devices with Android 6.0 have that option.

    You can try moving some apps to SD card in Settings - Applications Manager, but only portions of each app will be moved and you will not free up a lot of internal storage.

    I find 16gb total internal storage has been enough for me in the past (I assume you have the J7). I have been happy with a Moto G that has 8gb until recently, and have no more than 4 gb of apps in my 32gb phones.

    It's possible that, like some HTC phones, the J7 allocates not much more than 1gb for apps. If you use apps with large storage needs, such as games, it may not be the device for you.

    Android Central does not have specific forums for the J series as yet.
