I just upgraded to Galaxy S7 Edge, and I had Verizon to transfer all my content from my old Galaxy S6, now I just realized that I lost all albums including Instagram, Facebook, Messenger, my own vacation folders etc.

Is there anyway to restore folders in Gallery? All pictures are in one main folder. Of course I know I can do it manually but there is more than 2,000 of them...

    Please help!

Hello & Thanks for stopping by!

If you still have the old device, you can use Samsung's Smart Switch App, available in the Play Store. Install on both phones, the transfer literally all of your settings, pictures, texts, call history and apps(No Data/Settings with apps, just the apps).

    Tutorial:

    Hope this helps!

You could also try your samsung account if you chose to backup your photos or even try dropbox.
