Yes, I agree that it is nota deal breaker by any means.
However, I think it gives an interesting look into the hardware in these phones for geeky people like me. When Exynos turned out to be slightly faster than the Snapdragon S7 I chalked it down to poor software optimisation on the US models. Now it's looking increasingly u likely that the difference is in fact due to an architectural advantage in the Exynos SOC. We'll have to wait for the HTC 10 to know for sure but things surely are looking good for Samsung so far.
