Considering upgrading to an S7(AT&T) from a S4(AT&T), is Polaris Office 5 on the S7 by default or is it a download?

I have the Verizon S7, it comes with Hancom Office 2014 as the stock "office" app

Definitely a Download. But it's no longer in the Galaxy Apps, though. Samsung now has partnered with Microsoft to 'push' their Office suit, which is also free, but you can choose which ones to install. If it already comes installed (I know that in the Note 5 some carriers did, some didn't), you can uninstall them completely too.

Hancom office is the default and I love it. It allows for easy stylus input and you can save to Dropbox, Drive, etc unlike some office apps (MS Office, I'm looking at you) which only allow for Dropbox or MS cloud service (what's it called)
