how to prevent data loss with factory reset in S7

Can somebody help me on this please Samsung S7 please...

I found myself facing this "Enter password instead of using fingerprint recognition after restarting device...." , as the other with.

It looks now the answer to that issue, as I looked around, is the factory reset. But I want to prevent loosing my data.

By design, every time you reboot ( restart) your phone, you will need to enter your password. After that, you can use your fingerprint to unlock the phone.
