s7 auto focus issues

[AC Question]

So my husband just got the S7, and had an S5....
We sell online for a living, and our photos have to obviously be perfect, that being said, our S5 you use to be able to hold down the button to take a photo, and it would focus, when you had the picture perfect, you would let go and it would take your photo.

Im not sure what im doing wrong, but the 7s is taking really crappy photos up close, im still using the S5 to take photos because the s7 sucks so bad...

Can someone please help me figure out what i could change to fix this, if it makes any difference im taking a photo of a comic book, most of the book looks fine, expect for around the edges and top.

Welcome to Android Central! Just to be sure--there's no protective plastic film on the camera lens, is there?

Ya check if there's nothing covering the lenses, I must say my focus works flaweless which makes me rly happy with the camera performance:

my camera has been acting up to only on focusing by taking a picture of a receipt or such. I have been having so many issues with this headache waste of $800
