This has recently happened to me on a game. Really annoying. Did you find a fix?

I also noticed this happening and it's very annoying. I think someone in another thread suggested setting the display to AMOLED cinema. I just tried that and ......I had to edit this....it's still dimming

Ok so i installed package disabler pro for £0.50 and disabled Game service.
Job done. Best £0.50 ever spent.

When I am playing a game and don't touch my screen for several seconds, the screen begins to fade to dark in increments. If I touch it, it brightens back up, but repeats again when I stop touching it for a short time. I've had the S7 for several months, and this just started over the weekend. I saw somewhere that the Game Service updates may have something to do with that, but I can't even find that app anywhere. Very frustrated!

Mine dims no matter what I'm doing or what app I'm using. No power saving on.

Hey folks...see the other thread on this subject. Someone posted what could be the fix by using Package Disabler to halt GameService.

Hi easy as. Go to game tuner app open the app then go to settings. Then in settings go to app category. Then find your game and change it from game to non-game. Fixed.

Fixed mine by going to app manager and clicking on drop down and resetting app settings

I solved that issue on my GS 7 by following these steps. Go to Settings|Device|Display. Then on the brightness section select auto and set the brightness as desired, leaving always the auto option checked. I hope that this helps.
