I just got a Galaxy S7 phone and I can't figure out how to set the step goal in S-Health. The default is 6000, but I'd like to raise that. The steps bar doesn't seem to let me move it, unlike the distance or time bar. Anyone figure this out?

Tap on the steps section so the screen looks like this/ Tap on more and then set target. You can adjust the steps goal there. These screen caps are from my S7 Edge but it is the same as the S7. Just slide the bar.

Hmmm, I have mine paired with Gear S2 and when I hit more the only option is "Source Data to View". I wonder if I somehow have to adjust the goal on the S2 or some different location in S Health?

You can adjust the step goal on the watch and they will be reflected on the phone. I have a Gear S that will work that way.

Ahh, thanks, finally found it! I kept hitting the steps widgit and not seeing settings, actually have to go into the S Health app on the watch and hit start and then you can get into the settings. Thanks!
