Hey, I have this problem, too.
It has been incredibly frustrating. I bought my phone direct from Samsung. I have sent it back twice. Neither time did the fix it. The first time, they "cleaned the speaker and did a factor reset. The second time, they tested it and set it back unrepaired. I chatted with support for a long time and they said I can send it in again if I want.
The speaker cuts out when playing music, or games, SOMETIMES. Not all the time. The first couple days I had it after the latest fix, I played with it without putting in my SIM Card, the speaker only quit once. After I put the sim in, it immediately quit the next time I tried a game. Then later, it was working again. Now, it is back to not working.
I'm just going to sell the phone as Samsung CLAIMS it has no issues, so I will claim the same.
