Anybody Have A Problem With TSA ?

Airport screeners can't be expected to be experts in everything and I was wondering if anyone got hassled trying to board a plane with a Samsung phone? I have to fly next week and I don't look forward to having to argue that my Galaxy S7 Edge is not one of the phones blowing up.

Yesterday, in the news...US airlines ban Samsung Note 7. My only concern is the airport screener not knowing the difference.

IF you have a problem with a screener, simply ask for their supervisor. They can't all be clueless

All they would have to do is look at the back, right? It clearly says Galaxy S7... and the note says Galaxy Note 7.

You would think so, but the worry is some clueless screener will be insistent that the "Galaxy 7" is banned. He see's a 7 on the back of your phone, and that conforms to his incorrect belief that "Galaxy 7's" are banned. The "Note" term may be a subtlety that escapes the screener. I think that's the main concern here.

Just show them the back of the phone... If it doesn't say Note 7, you're good to go
