I got a Verizon S7 from Best Buy today.
I just went into settings and allowed it to check for updates The phone came with security updates dated Sep. 1, 2016. It found one update. So I let it download and install. It took a few minutes while the phone rebooted twice. When I noticed that it was done, I picked it up and was shocked at how hot the phone got. I have never experienced something like this where the the entire phone was extremely hot, not just certain parts. Every surface was hot.
I have owned several Samsung flagship phones over the year(Note 2/3/4/5/7, , S5, S6, S7 edge). I have NEVER experienced such high temperatures on any of them.. not even on the S7's big brother, the S7 edge.... is there something wrong with my 12-hour-old S7?
Thanks!
