Here are some screenshots of my battery life and my apps installed. I cannot figure out what would be causing this battery drain. have no idea which apps would be messing up my battery. if someone has any tips or tricks on how to make my battery last longer please let me know. I won't give sync or push emails as I want those. I always delete battery draining apps besides social media apps as I use them a lot and don't want to remove them at all. if anyone has any advice on how to make my battery life last longer please tell me thanks. I have to charge at least 1 to 2 times a day and would like to be able to last most of the day on a charge. I don't think I am using too many bad apps that might be draining my battery all. I would really like some help with this if possible. at least it charges very quickly but still I cannot get it to last as long as I would like it to.

Turn off Bluetooth if not in use. You also have poor signal. Install GSAM battery monitor so we can get a better idea of screen and signal battery usage compared to the stock. Screen takes up a lot of battery use. You may want to set it to autobrightness and below 50%.

Your signal strength looks horrible. 1 bar in 3G and LTE. That must mean you live in such a poor signal area that it drops off of LTE and switches down to 3G. I'm betting that 75% of your problem right there. Unfortunately there is nothing you can do about it besides switching networks. My S7 suffers from this as well, but not nearly as bad. I still get 1-3 bars 4G

The screen shot you posted shows that the phone isn't dozing. Maybe that's just because the data are for daytime hours, but my S7 occasionally experiences doze problems (even overnight) and sub-normal battery performance. Try a cache partition wipe first and if that doesn't work try a full factory data reset. Wiping the cache partition always fixes my occasional problem.

What kind of help is that?

i would call it a start.
but seriously, this is the most bloated phone i have ever had.

Facebook singlehandedly has been the leading cause of battery issues since Froyo for many people. The sheer number of articles about Facebook's battery consumption are ridiculous. It may not completely solve the issue but it's a good start.

What does facebook do in the background that is so battery draining besides sending you push notifications (which you can disable)? That and showing the notification icon next to the app icon. You can restrict background data on FB in the Application Manager. You could also disable permissions like location, microphone, etc. Although I haven't tried doing that yet. I have ALL notifications disabled so I don't get any battery wasted by push notifications (CPU usage to pop up the notification on the GUI, vibrations, LED light all consume battery, even if minimally) since I don't need them. I have the app on my home screen and can see the notification right there anyway. I look at my phone so dang often, I don't need notifications for anything but messaging and phone calls to be honest.
