i have an S7 Edge. i don't know what it's called but when you turn the display off and it's black and has the time and date there. also battery %. i used to have a message icon under the battery % if i had a text waiting. there was some update about month ago, now that icon doesn't show up anymore. can't see how to get it back. it was helpful letting me know i had a text. thanks
On your Settings, go to Display, then select Always On Display, then Layouts. There, make sure that the 'Show notifications' toggle is set to ON. On the S7/S7 Edge, unless you're on the new Nougat update, the notifications are only from stock Samsung apps, no 3rd party ones are compatible.
ahhh yes on Nougat and using Handcent. thank you for the information
If you're already on the STABLE Nougat version, it should support 3rd party apps... Unless they updated AOD and 'broke' that. Do any other apps show up there and is just Handcent missing?
