Until recently I was a proud owner of Samsung S7 SM-G930FD. Dual sim problem was going on for some time until I completely lost reception on SIM # 2. With little research I found out that as long as I select 4G on either SIM, that sim will work on that particular network. SIM downgraded to 2Gt will not get any voice or data.
Found out that companies such as AT&T have completely cut of voice channels and strumming voice via 4G or 3G since the Galaxy 7S duo can have only one SIM on 4G the other SIM becomes useless. Another worfd If Samsung does not do anything to change in the Galaxy S7 software the duos are useless in US.
Open for suggestions and/or tips.
