Samsung email app not compatible with my S7???

I have the US unlocked S7 and I couldn't find the old native Samsung email app. I looked online and saw that it was now in the Play Store, but I went there and it says "not compatible with this device". WTF?? How is Samsung's email app not compatible with a Samsung phone? I downloaded it from APK Mirror, but I am just confused why an app that was standard with Galaxy phones isn't compatible now?

Yeah, I tried getting the latest version in the play store.

Samsung email is the Email app already installed on your S7. its name is just Email now. It should be in your apps then Samsung folder.

It's not in there. It wasn't even an option to download, which the unlocked version of this phone offers at setup. I just got the phone Monday and on setup, there was no email installed other than the Gmail app.

Try the Samsung app store, should be on your phone. Samsung seems to be moving their apps away from the play store. I prefer gmail but they are fairly similar. The reason I prefer gmail is that it integrates with google now so I get all my deliveries and flights on Now. Other than that, the stock email is great. But another vote for Aquamail, I bought it years ago but stopped using it, seriously customizeable.
