As my title States I am dealing with a pop-up issue with Chromecast. This happens any time I adjust my volume while streaming any kind of audio / video, on several apps. The phone is trying to connect with a device that is not mine - nor in my apt. It seems so persistent on making the connection. I cannot get around the pop-ups, it just keeps prompting me to enter a pin!
I searched for a while and found advice for the SN5.
In the settings > google > cast, I disabled the remote control notification settings. This has not changed anything. I'm out of ideas. Any help is appreciated as these pop-ups cannot be ignored and I usually have to restart my phone.
Just got this phone two weeks ago after my Nexus 6 shattered. Had the issue since I got the phone. S7 - 6.0.1 - T-Mobile
