Unable to pair Galaxy S7 with car bluetooth after android 7.0 update

AC Question

Hello,

I own Samsung Galaxy S7 - XEO distribution. I've been using android 6.0 fine until 7.0 OTA update came out.
After installing android 7.0 i'm unable to bluetooth pair with my car.

1. I select my car bluetooth name
2. I put pin code 0000 or any other
3. I confirm code using car display
4. The phone does not connect to car (says that something failed)

I've tried following steps with no success:

1. Boot phone to safe mode
2. Disable wifi and phone data connection
3. Clear wifi/bluetooth settings
4. Wipe cache partition using special enginner menu.

Any ideas what else can i do?

Same here, after the nougat update I had a hell of a time pairing my S7 Bluetooth to my car (worked 6.0), I ended up deleting my phone from the car then re-pairing the phone to the car.

I struggled for a few days before I tried the obvious, which magically worked on my S7 to my Toyota car - I turned Bluetooth off and on again. Suddenly, headphones paired, tried car, it paired, everything was nice. Doubt it'll fix it for everybody or even the majority, but just a reminder to not forget the obvious, easy steps first.
