Data Supplied Is Of Wrong Type

Trying to simply copy and past the 80+ gb of photos and videos I have on my phone to my computer via USB but it only copies maybe 4-5gb before it crashes and gives me an error window saying "data supplied is of wrong type".

I want to copy and past all of my data before I update my phone as last time. I upgraded a phone without doing so I lost over a thousand photos and memories.

Anyone know what's going on? Google isn't really proving a helpful avenue.

Have you tried backing the data up using Smart Switch on your PC? It seems like the connection is getting lost at some point, so maybe the driver or something is screwing up the transfer.

Are you using a usb hub? It was bought to my attention when I flashed new firmware to my device. Use only official cables and only usb ports on the rear of your pc. Never hubs or front ports. Try that and let us know what happens
