I only get SOME calls galaxy s7

[AC Question]

A month after we got our galaxy s7 phones, my husband and i started getting only SOME calls. Doesnt matter who calls, we only sometimes get the call. My husband called me 7 times yesterday, then he gave up and called me on my work phone (a flip phone) to get through to me. My phone was right next to me, i was NOT on the internet, and the ringer was on high. I have to restart it almost daily just to make calls. The system updated 2 weeks ago. Extremely frustrating. Especially since i have kids in school, one at a babysitter's house, i work, and we are STILL paying for the damn phones!!

Try removing and cleaning the sim. A bit of nail polish remover on a cotton bud can sometimes rectify any connection issues

I agree, the problem really can be in the very sim

But I would recommend rubbing alcohol not nail polish remover. I wouldn't trust acetone to not damage a sim card.
