Galaxy S7 sometimes heats up and makes taps hold?

A

AC Question

It started a few weeks ago, for some reason every so often (and when it happens the problem can persist anywhere from a few minutes to days on end) the phone heats up enough to where it's noticeable, but not painful to hold or anything, and when I tap things it holds down the tap. It's most noticeable from typing and makes it a massive pain to type, as letters will frequently repeat or go to their corresponding symbol, and backspacing will usually delete half the message before it will release. I've restarted the phone multiple times, and it doesn't do anything. Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to Android Central! There might be a rogue app going out of control, causing the phone to heat up and lag. The next time this happens, check the Settings>Battery menu after a few minutes, and see if any app is using an inordinate amount of power.
