I have a client who has a Samsung S7. When he's on his desktop he can see all of his synced events without a problem. When he uses his S7 or Galaxy Tablet he can only see the events in a monthly or weekly view at the top of the calendar. When he taps on a day to see more details it doesn't show that event at all. He can see all of the other calendars and events, except for his work schedule. It doesn't matter if we do a direct or indirect sync. Is there some setting that causes this?

Welcome to Android Central! Is this the Google Calendar app, or the stock Calendar app from Samsung? Are the events that don't show scheduled to a certain time, or are they All Day events?

Hello, and thank you. I believe it is the stock calendar app. They come across as all-day events even though the subscription URL is not being copied as an all day event URL.

Is this only for events that he clicks a link on in Outlook, which then adds it to his calendar? Does this happen if he uses the Google Calendar app as well?

Hello, Here's the latest. He uses our calendar's sync link to integrate with his Google calendar and then from Google to integrate with his Samsung Calendar.

"I'm not sure what the question is. I don't sync to Outlook; I have been trying to sync to Google Calendar, which is natively supported on my Samsung Galaxy 7. I can see the schedule if I am in month or week view, but not in day view (but, not always in week view). On my laptop (Del xps13) Google calendar shows the schedule fine. Recently, when specific room assignments are made, I have now been getting an additional calendar item sent to my phone, but that is the afternoon the day before and serves no purpose. I want to be able to look at a day 6 weeks from now and see that I am scheduled in the OR so I can plan accordingly. I think the real questions are: why does this synch to Google Calendar but not in a format that works with the phone; why does it show as an all-day appointment even though the sync link is copied for as an all day event? I can see the dates in the Qgenda app, but that is an extra step that defeats the purpose of forwarding it to my calendar."

I was trying to figure out which desktop interface your client is using. Since it sounded like a work system, I wondered if you're using an Outlook Exchange email on the desktop, and syncing that with the phone's email app. I'm always wary of syncing those kinds of accounts with Gmail or Google Calendar, because there always seem to be some odd glitches here and there.

When you say "our calendar's sync link," is this a specific Google Calendar link?

BTW, I apologize in advance if I don't end up with the right answer -- part of this also to get more details so that other smarter people on the forums might be able to help as well!
