screen freezing

Hey all, recently my s7 screen has been freezing on me. Every time I open an app or web page or even go to unlock the phone the screen will lock up for 15-20 seconds and you have to sit there and wait till it decides to work. May not seem like a big deal but if you need to reply to a message, or answer a phone or even get a high score in a game it is a pain. I've done the phones internal scan thing, deleted apps, put to sleep ones running in the background etc all to no avail. Any thoughts?

Use the boot menu to do a system cache wipe.

Turn off the phone, then hold the volume up and home buttons while turning on the phone and do not let go until you see a blue screen. Wait it out till a menu appears and use the volume up and down to navigate and power to select. Do the system cache wipe. It won't delete yout files. But be careful because it's right next to factory wipe which WILL delete your files. Make a backup first if you're worried.
