Trouble connecting a 360 controller to galaxy s7

I am trying to hook up my xbox 360 controller to my s7, but i run into the issue where most of the bottons work but the R2, L2, and and right stick dont work correctly. The right stick doesnt work and the two triggers make the right stick move but dont get recognized as the trigger but as the right stick(like l2 moves its up/down and r2 left/right) and in game(rules of survival once i press either trigger its goes crazy and wont stop moving). I have the app "gamecontroller key mapper" and thats how i know the triggers do that, and on the app. It wont let me map the controls. I tired a wired 360 controllers and and a wirerless one(with the plug and play wire) and a usb to micro adapter. I cant figure out what to do here, if it helps the wired controller keeps flashing when pluged in and thats the one that has the issue with the controls and the wireless and plug and play wire doesnt register at all and does notthing
