I have upgraded my phone from a Galaxy S4 to a S7 a while ago. My work email uses Google platform but is a @mydomain.com address. With my old phone I was able to enter a Contact into the desktop email program (eM Client) and it would sync with the google web interface and my phone.

This this new phone I cannot get any contact's that have been entered in the email client to sync with my phone. It will sync with the google web interface, but will not on the phone. All other services like Calender work just fine.

This is not the same reverse. I can enter contacts on my phone, and then have it sync on my desktop email.

Welcome to Android Central! Are you accessing your email on the Gmail app, or the stock Email app?

Go to Settings>Accounts. Is that @mydomain.com account listed under the Google account or its own account? If you see it there, make sure Contacts sync is turned on.
