Galaxy S7 - Intermittent ability to answer a call

Galaxy S7 After recent update via Verizon, many times phone will ring, but cannot answer. It just rings and rings. Sometimes can answer just fine. Always can call out. Everything else works....

Welcome to Android Central! When you say you can't answer it, do you mean that it doesn't respond to your touch when you try to swipe the screen to answer the call? Or does it look like it's answering, but you don't hear anything?

Hi...Had to make an account to answer...Swiping does not answer the phone. Keeps ringing.

So are you saying that the phone screen doesn't seem to respond to touch at all? When the phone stops ringing, are you able to use the touchscreen normally?

The phone screen operates normally for everything. Swiping it just does not answer the phone. Yes, the touch screen works for everything else.....and it works fine to answer the phone sometimes. When it does not answer the phone, trying over and over does not do it.

Strange. Could it be that you're not swiping up far enough? I've seem some interfaces be a little twitchy, where it doesn't seem to register your swipe going all the way up, unless you're doing it somewhat slowly and firmly.

Well, will await the next event and let you know about swipes...I'll try a bunch of different directions.

If you have to swipe up, make sure you're swiping up all the way.
