using Google calendar but adding to the calendar set as Samsung....

I am using the google calendar on my Galaxy S7 but when I add to my calendar I set it as Samsung calendar so I can have multiple reminders set for each appt. ect. bu I seem to be having a syncing issue with my online google calendar the samsung appt's set up on my phone are not syncing with my google online calendar. I have my phone set to sync with my google calendar and my samsung calendar .... how do I fix this I don't want to get rid of my multiple reminder option with the samsung calendar HELP...

Set it to Google Calendar. Google Calendar can have multiple reminders.
