samsung galaxy s8 microphone is looking strange. I dictate a lot into my phone by voice and the mike works fine but previously the mike icon had always been green. then a few weeks ago it turned blue. then it went back to green for a short while and now its blue again. the mike also now has the word 'Google' below it. I can't help being suspicious - is google listening to what I say? why is the mike icon changing colour?

if i go inti any any app where I need to type something I get the keyboard and I press the microphone icon (circled in red) and then I get the mike and then I can dictate - screenshots attached. The icon is blue but it used to be green and I don't remember seeing 'Google' below it before.

Mine blue also , I have Google text to talk not Samsung which might be green

Speech to text is that Color for the mic

yes but the mike icon used to be green, so I'm wondering if this change was due to an update or is there a setting in the phone that changes the mike from samsung-controlled to google controlled (?)
