Does the S Pen work on the Galaxy S8?

I haven't seen one way or the other if the S Pen works with the S8. Anyone with one able to test?

This is true in limited context. When inserting your S-Pen into another person's note 5, it will register that new pen with that device. Also, Galaxy Tab S3 that came out earlier this spring supports the Note 5 & 7 (yes I still have my Note 7 stylus) input without doing anything.

But, the S-Pen from the tablet did not seem to want to write on the Note 5. I bet it just didn't recognize the pen in software but would physically be able to work if it new what it was looking for.

I really hoped the S-Pen worked on the S8+ (unlocked version arrives tomorrow for me!!) So that waiting for the Note 8 wouldn't be so bad.

Unfortunately, the S-Pen is not compatible with the S8/S8+.

S8 dosen't have the wacom digitizer so no it won't work.
