question about ordering from samsung.com and activation

I got a question regarding ordering the S8 via the samsung website. I want the tmobile one and it says comes with a SIM installed already. Of course I'm with Tmobile and have S7 edge. If I get this from samsung can I still simply take their sim card out and pop mine in, or will the IMEI be tied down to that SIM card and I'd be unable to simply pop in my card?

Also it appears this is coming directly via samsung this time. Would I get my device early or should I just call tmobile and order from them?

It looks like they have an instant activation option during checkout. I'd just leave that blank and when you get the phone, pop in your SIM and go.
